Kosovo
unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17.2.2008.More
than 50 nations have now recognized Kosovo. Serbia has indicated that it would oppose Kosovo's independence using "all peaceful, diplomatic and legal means." See REUTERS article below. |
